Fancy, one of SCEA's poster children, was rescued in 2008 and was in terrible condition. She suffered from malnutrition, parasites, rain rot, and a huge distrust of humans. She was taken to our quarantine barn and treated for her health problems and was eventually adopted by Scott and Carol Downs. They continued to care for her physical problems and slowly began to gain her trust. When Fancy was physically able, Scott started her in a training program that is chronicled on our videos page and YouTube.  Today, she has matured into a beautiful, curious, and gentle horse.
