Rescue Stories

During the 15 years since SCEA was formed, more than 150 horses have been rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed.  Here are a few of their stories.

Winston
 
Winston was the first horse rescued by soon to be founders of SCEA, Bryce and Chris LeJeune. He became the poster child for SCEA. Find out more about Winston here.
Fancy
 
Fancy came to SCEA in 2008 as part of a large group of seized horses. Not only did she recover from her years of neglect, but she also flourished. Read more here.
L-Lee
 
L-Lee arrived at SCEA in May 2012. She was a very sick little yearling. Learn more about L-Lee here.
Scrappy
