L-Lee

L-Lee came to SCEA in May 2012 as part of a group of eight horses seized by a Westmoreland County humane officer. The yearling was emaciated, infested with parasites, and had growth plate problems due to her chronic malnutrition. She was also pregnant! Shortly after arriving at SCEA she aborted the fetus. She was the most ill of the eight horses that arrived with her group. After her immediate medical problems were attended to and she completed her 30 day quarantine period, she was fostered by Jerry and Linda Feulmer who eventually adopted her. With their tender, loving care L-Lee has blossomed and today is enjoying life at the Feulmer's farm.
